How to Get the Most From Your Scoop

Adding Earth’s Mushrooms to coffee is just the most common choice, not the only one. Tea, smoothies, warm water, even a cold brew on a hot day, all work just as well. What matters more than the drink is timing and dosage, so let's cover both.

Morning or afternoon, just not late

There's flexibility here. Morning works. Afternoon works too, if that fits your routine better.

What doesn't work is evening or night. The blend includes Cordyceps, which supports energy production, and taking it too close to bedtime can work against a good night's sleep instead of helping it.

That matters even if sleep is the actual goal. Reishi, the calming mushroom in the blend, still supports better rest. It just does that work gradually, over the course of the day and over weeks of consistent use, not through a dose taken right before bed. Take it earlier in the day and let it do its job by the time night actually comes.

Dosage: start where you are

One scoop is the standard serving, and for most people, that's the right place to start.

But bodies are different. Some people notice a difference within days at one scoop. Others find that two to three scoops gets them there faster, particularly if they're using the blend for something specific like sleep support or a heavier mental load at work.

There's no wrong way to scale within reason. If one scoop feels subtle after a couple of weeks, two to three scoops is a reasonable next step. Just remember more isn't automatically better. Consistency matters more than quantity.

What you mix it into actually matters less than you'd think

Coffee works well because the mild, earthy taste blends in without much notice. But it's just one option among several.

Tea is a good pick if you are more of a tea person.

Warm water on its own or with a bit of honey suits people who want something simple and quick.

Smoothies work well if you're someone who skips breakfast, doesn’t drink coffee or tea and wants to combine the scoop with something more substantial.

We often get asked if it’s okay to add it to hot beverages. The answer is yet, a hot drink is fine. Our blend is hot water and alcohol extracted to pull out all the beneficial benefits from mushrooms and that’s done using heat, so it is totally fine to put it into hot beverages.

Consistency beats intensity

Here's the part that trips people up the most.

The blend isn't a stimulant. It won't hit you the way caffeine does.

What it does instead is support your body's systems gradually, over days and weeks, not minutes. Week one might feel subtle, or like nothing at all.

Week two, something starts to change. By month two, for a lot of people, it's just part of how they feel.

That means the biggest factor in results isn't the exact scoop size or the exact drink you mix it into. It's whether you take it most days. A missed day here and there won't undo anything. But skipping for a week, then wondering why nothing's changed, usually just means the habit hasn't had a chance to build yet.

We’re conditioned to think that taking something will have an immediate effect (and for some it does) but for a lot of others it takes time to adapt and adjust with your body. And to undo years of inflammation and stress on the body.

We recommend increasing dosage to three scoops for those that haven’t felt anything after the first month.  Everyone’s body is different and some need that extra dosage bump.

A few small habits that help

Keep your 5 Mushroom POWER somewhere visible, next to your coffee maker, your kettle, wherever your routine already happens. Out of sight tends to mean out of routine.

If you travel, a small travel container means you're not stuck skipping days on trips. It’s totally safe to take across borders.  These are all legal mushrooms.

If you forget, don't overthink it. Take it whenever you remember, as long as it's still well before evening.

The short version

Morning or afternoon, whatever fits your day. Just steer clear of evening or night, especially if sleep is the goal. Mix it into whatever you'll actually drink consistently, coffee or otherwise. And give it time. The blend works with your body, it supports it.

Ready to build the habit?

One scoop. Five mushrooms. Morning or afternoon, however you take it.
